A fabulous project, working with the New Art Exchange creating a new identity for their cafe, Corner.

The fully-glazed cafe, situated in the corner of the modern black building, acts light a beacon for the community.

During the day, light streams in, and at night, light floods out into the street, and into the community.

Having never had a name, or brand of it’s own since New Art Exchange opened in 2008, it was time for the multi-use space to be given it’s own identity. One that could stand alone, as well as work as a relation to its gallery home.

‘Corner’ is a literal description of its location, making it easy to find.

As an open door to the local diverse community it was imperative the name was easy to pronounce, understand and remember, and would resonate across language and cultures.

It references both it’s location within the recognisable building itself, as well as the crossroads on which it sits within the Hyson Green area, as a hub of the community.

“Collaborating with Anna on a branding project was incredibly refreshing. She takes the time to understand your organisation's values, which shines through in the final brand delivery”
